ANNOUNCEMENTS   The seventh of Türkiye Stroke Academy will be held in Aydın Kuşadası on 2-5 November 2023. Abstract Submission Deadline: October 1, 2023

Dear Colleagues,

The seventh of the Turkish Stroke Academy meetings will be held in Kuşadası, Aydın on 2-5 November 2023. We will be delighted to host our neurologists, the frontline physicians of stroke diagnosis and treatment in our country, at our meeting hosted by the Turkish Cerebrovascular Diseases Association.

The Stroke Academy will be organized in a format that will bring together international authorities in the field of stroke with their colleagues in Turkey, as has been the case since its inception. The language of the meeting will be both English and Turkish. English-based sessions in the main hall will be accompanied by Turkish sessions in the second hall. All foreign conversations will be translated simultaneously.

This year, we are planning to host more than 10 internationally renowned academicians from many different fields of stroke such as risk factors, imaging, primary and secondary prevention, and acute treatment, with the primary goal to enable them to share their clinical and research experiences with us. Courses on neuro-interventional applications, neurosonology, stroke prevention and neuronutrition will be held just prior to our congress. The entire program will last for four days, and will also include poster and oral presentation sessions.

The economic conditions and regulations in our country, have hampered the participation of our colleagues in international meetings in the field of stroke and neurology. With this year’s motto "We Are Bringing the World to You", the Organizing Committee of the Seventh Turkish Stroke Academy invites all neurology specialists passionate about stroke to experience a congress at international standards within the borders of our country.

Looking forward to meeting you in Kuşadası…

On behalf of Turkish Cerebrovascular Diseases Association 7th Stroke Academy Organizing Committee
Prof. Dr. Ethem Murat Arsava
